Services Charges All service charges by operators and tour agency employed by Seaborne are subject to changes without prior notice, especially in the event of airfare increases; currency rates fluctuation, resort and hotel rates changes and operational costs, such as fuel charges, food charges etc.. Seaborne reserves all rights to alter any services charges as accordingly to the differences in services costs. 2. Deposit, Charges, Cancellation Charges and Refunds A non-refundable deposit amounting to 50% of the service fee is required upon confirmation of reservation and the balance to be made at least 2 weeks before departure date. All courses are to be completed within SIX MONTHS of the first lesson. An administration fee of S$100 is to be charged for extension of course. Seaborne will not be held liable for any refund due to any unutilized services included in the package. Seaborne holds no responsibilities for factors beyond its control. E.g. Medical problems, transportation technical problems, bad weather, delayed in timing due to other parties and factors. Mode of Payment
We do not accept credit cards nor charge GST%. Refund Policy to be strictly adhered to.
Refund is based on payment made in additional to the non-refundable deposit. 3. Travel Documents
All customers are to ensure that they have a valid VISA (If required), and international passport with minimum 6 months validity from date of departure. Seaborne will not make any refund due to the inconveniences caused resulting from the failure of this responsibility.
4. Proof of Dive Certification In times of participating in leisure dive trips or progressive courses, a valid dive certification, or logbook must be shown, Seaborne reserve the rights to reject any entries or to suggest a refresher course if the customer has not been diving for the past 6 months. In the event a diver is disallowed from dive participation due to his / her lack of confidence and diving skills, no refunds will be entertained. 5. Rental of Equipment and Accessories These are regarded as extra services and Seaborne is not responsible for any equipment malfunction whilst on tour. It is the hirer responsibility to ensure the serviceability of the equipment/accessories under his/her rental duration prior to activation. In the event of equipment / accessories damages in the hands of the hirer, he / she will be held liable and may be ask to make appropriate compensation as according to Seaborne management. 6. Travel Insurance / Discharge of Liabilities Travel insurance is advised to be taken up by the participants in the event of baggage loss, hospitalization or medical reasons. Discharges of liabilities are to be signed by the participants prior to departure. Please check with us regarding any recreational dive insurance you would like to undertake and we will refer you to our agent. Dan insurance is highly recommended. www.danasiapacific.org 7. Dive Leading Dive leaders are provided for certified leisure divers as an additional service only .It is not a requirement for certified divers to dive with a dive guide. Hence our dive leaders shall not be held responsible in the event of any dissatisfaction or accident during the dive. All certified divers are responsible for their own dive profile and to stay within the safety limits recommended by the RDP or their dive computers. 8. Emergency Evacuation In the event of any accident that requires immediate evacuation by land, sea or air, the victim is liable to cover all expenses even if she/he is unconscious throughout the whole event. Priority will be the speediest transportation of the victim to the nearest medical facility able to support his/her condition. Divers are strongly recommended to take out DAN membership to cover all evaluation cost.
